CEO

Jon Soares

Jon Soares began working with his father's plumbing and HVAC company as a teenager. After attending Florida International University and working briefly in law enforcement, he was recruited by a large national contracting firm. He eventually launched RCS when he was approached by a restaurant franchisee. Over the past 30 years he has built a reputation for strong leadership, technical knowledge, and relationship-driven business development. Jon helps guide the company’s long-term vision while remaining closely involved in project execution and client relationships. He lives in Raleigh with his wife and two sons.

Steven Johnson

Steven Johnson grew up around laundromats, real estate, and construction projects. He developed an early passion for building and operations. He attended Washington and Lee University then gained experience in technology startups, investor relations, and corporate real estate. He joined RCS after working on a project together outside Charlotte. Steven oversees the company’s day-to-day operations with a focus on delivering projects on time, on budget, and with an exceptional client experience. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and being on the water.
